Babies, Babies, Babies

I've got lots of baby showers to attend this winter so I've been busy hand-making all my gifts. Here are just a few I've done so far: pacifier clips (find tutorial here), bib and burp cloths (inspired by a craft I saw at the Renegade Craft Fair in Chicago this summer, wish I could remember which vendor it was!), and my first ever quilt.

Baby "Sprinkle" Party

I threw my sister a baby "sprinkle" this weekend to celebrate the birth of her second child. In addition to designing the invitation (which I posted a few weeks ago) I also created a banner, paper flower centerpiece, origami butterflies, and party favors. My 5-year-old nephew, Isaac, joined us at the party and had more fun with the balloons than anything.

It's a Girl!

I recently designed this baby shower invitation for my sister. She already knows the gender so I was able to use a very specific "girly" color scheme. It's not often that you see lavender and chocolate brown combined, but it really does make for a rich and beautiful color palette.
